Springtime Serenade
I was inspired recently by the sights and sounds of impending spring. From the dogwoods, to the tender green ferns emerging from their winter slumber to the cherry trees. I was looking out my window recently and saw what appeared to be snow. It was blossoms falling from the cherry trees. It was so beautiful as the delicate pink petals drifted gently across the sky.

I recently found some beautiful pink and white beads. They reminded me of the cherry blossoms with their delicate shades of pink and white...

I paired the beads with vintage velvet ribbon, rosette style chain, fresh water pearls and a bird charm. Together, they form a triple strand homage to spring.
Wanted to share a photo of my latest find. This brooch came all the way from an estate in jolly England:

This 1940's brooch is exquisite. The detail and workmanship is incredible from the rose in Juliet's hand, the pillars of the balcony to the kissing lovebirds. The brooch depicts the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. It's even prettier in person. Someone took pride and care with the creation of this piece. It is made of carved celluloid with a framework of pearls. I'm going to transform this into a necklace. Keep an eye out for this one of a kind creation.
