Volunteer opportunity and custom work

My daughter is involved in technical theater.  It is her passion.  She is working with a new theater company called the Shakespeare Studio.   They were asking for volunteers and donations.  I offered to design jewelry that could be worn during the production and later auctioned as a fundraiser.  It's a great way to give back to the community and to  stretch my wings creatively.  Custom work is a fun challenge; matching colors, textures and shape to create a piece that is as unique as it's owner.   I really look forward to my partnership with this group.   Definitely a win-win situation!

For her:

This necklace is made from an oxidized silver filigree cross topped with a vintage rhinestone pin.  There's fresh water pearls and Swarovski crystals to add a bit of color.

For him:

Everything is vintage except for the chain and clasp.  This piece will be worn by an audience participant who will play the king in the production.
